the basic notion of social medias and newsfeeds and content has basically run its course imo. we gave it a good crack but it sucked shit and it made everybody want to kill themselves, each other, certain political figures and popular entertainers etc.
we can do better. we can return to homebrew personal websights with broken links and unclosed html tags and dormant blog sections with spambots going crazy in the comments.
the good old days are still here if you want them.
